Media Analytics & Ad-Ops


Effectively understanding performance of paid media programs is vital to the ongoing success of our clients’ efforts and fundamental to the essence of our Careiosity approach. This begins with ensuring proper and effective set up of media campaigns. Working closely with the Media Planning & Optimization team, The Media Analytics & Ad Operations team is responsible for ensuring proper implementation, trafficking and reporting of media campaigns.


Ad Operations

  • Works with internal teams (data insights, client services, creative, media planning & optimization) to coordinate effective implementation of ad serving
  • Responsible for creation and governance of asset naming and tracking conventions for media purposes
  • Manage trafficking tags across ad servers; gather and test all creative assets (tags, trackers, creative files) needed to go live
  • Verify and troubleshoot technical alignment of creative elements with specifications and troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Work with external partners such as ad verification, brand safety viewability vendors to ensure tracking tags are provided for optimal measurement
  • Manage media partner pixel generation and site tagging where required
  • Serve as a key escalation point for both internal and external stakeholder for clients and campaign matters relating to Ad Operations
  • Serve as a strategic partner for interdepartmental questions; attend internal meetings providing updates or consultation as needed.

Ad Tech

  • Support team leadership in the assessment of ad tech platforms and tools
  • Own and manage all advertising technology licenses and implementations for paid media programs (e.g. Google Campaign Manager, Google Data Studio, Nielsen)
  • Oversee site / app tagging requirements for data collection and conversion tracking
  • Own and lead tracking & pixeling strategy for paid media
  • Create and update process documents, specs sheets, and client facing documentation pertinent to ad tech usage
  • Manage access levels to Ad Tech platforms

Media Analytics

  • Develop templates for media program performance dashboards
  • Ensure ability for automated reporting of media program performance for each media campaign
  • Verify accuracy of data within media client reporting
  • Spearhead media effectiveness studies (set-up, execution guidelines, reporting)
  • Coordinate with Data Insights team to ensure alignment of media reporting with overall analytics and reporting mandates


  • Assistance with completion of general departmental tasks, as required.
  • Participation in thought leadership efforts



  • Experience in an ad operations role within an agency environment
  • Experience with ad serving technologies and other media effectiveness tools
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform, specifically Campaign Manager and Data Studio (preferred)
  • Experience with media planning tools


  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of SQL queries and of JavaScript (preferred)
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Responsible and autonomous.
  • Ability to deal with stress, pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of self-serve ad tools (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager)
